About us
Family-owned company Ergonomic solutions was founded in 2018 with the aim of creating optimal conditions for the well-being of office workers where prolonged sitting occurs.
The reason for focusing on the field of ergonomics stemmed from the issues experienced by our director and other colleagues, which accumulated over the years of improper posture while working at a desk. Based on our findings, these issues were addressed through the use of ergonomic office chairs and innovative ergonomic stands, developed in collaboration with our partner, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor – Laboratory for product design. This demonstrates that we can both prevent and effectively address these issues in a timely manner.
To raise general awareness, we have published a book on proper sitting titled “Is Sitting Really So Dangerous?” In the manual, written in Slovenian language, we discuss the consequences of improper sitting and offer many tips on how to prevent issues related with that.
With a comprehensive approach we aim to help people from facing the most common problems that occur in the back, neck, shoulders, knees, hips and wrists.
We received the following awards for the development of ergonomic aids:
- in 2019 – Recognition of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska for the social innovation “Ergonomic universal device and Improper Posture Reminder”.
- in 2023 – Recognition of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska for the social innovation “Ergonomko”.
